Learn about participating in the the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøվÊ»i State Legislative Internship Program from a panel of distinguished speakers. The panelists include:

- former ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøվ’i State Senator, Dwight Takamine

- President – Associated Students of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾WO (ASºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾WO) and former ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾WO ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøվ’i State Legislative Intern, Isaiah Baclaan

The ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøվÊ»i State Legislative Internship Program provides ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ West OÊ»ahu ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ with the unique opportunity to work with legislators in either the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøվÊ»i State House of Representatives and the Senate. Interns will gain insights into elective politics and observe the legislative decision-making process. Interns work an average of 40 hours per week assisting a senator or representative from January through May 2017. Interns will get paid for work and receive the full cost of spring 2017 tuition while earning 12 academic credits.
