Using Long-Term Monitoring to Understand Human Impacts on ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian Reefs by Sarah J. Leicht Severino, M.Sc., Research Assistant, ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾'i Institute of Marine Biology, Coral Reef Ecology Lab

Coral Reef Assessment and Monitoring (CRAMP) sites are located on reefs throughout the Main ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian Islands, and have been monitored periodically since the year 1997. In this talk, we will discuss how the CRAMP sites on Oahu have changed throughout the years and take a closer look into those heavily influenced by human interaction. We will then discuss how these sites compare to the most heavily snorkeled reef in the Main ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian Islands, Hanauma Bay, Oahu HI.
