Family Sunday Workshop: Making Music (Instrument-making for ages 8 and up)

Join us for our Family Sunday's "MAKING MUSIC Workshop" by Benjamin Fairfield, PhD, ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾M Ethnomusicology Lecturer. RSVP to arts@EastWestCenter.org to reserve a spot by March 20.

Schedule of activities:

1–2 p.m. Make your own instrument out of re-purposed materials
2–3 p.m. Learn to play your instrument
For ages 8 and up.

This event is held in connection to the exhibition, "Musical Instruments: Sounds of the Asia Pacific", on view through May 17th, 2020. This exhibition is dedicated to Professor Barbara B. Smith as part of the year-long celebration of her 100th birthday.

Gallery Hours: Open Weekdays 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Sundays Noon–4:00 p.m. Closed Saturdays and April 12.

Gallery admission is free. Guided gallery tours will be offered Sundays at 3 p.m. Free school & group tours available.
