Flowers of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾i

November 21, 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Kennedy Theatre

Play by Lee Cataluna,
Directed by Lurana Donnels O’Malley.

What are the things we share, and what are the things we keep under lock and key? In Lee Cataluna’s Flowers of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾i, meet the quirky, troubled and resilient members of a multi-generational local family as they battle over love, sex, money and inheritance.

Cataluna—award-winning ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾i playwright, novelist, and journalist—blends humor with sadness, mixes passion with vitriol, to create a vibrant play that is as varied as the flowers of our island. Flowers of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾i, to be streamed live with a cast of 15 performers, is the first ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ Manoa production of a Cataluna play.

Content warning: Strong language, sexual situations, violence, domestic abuse and suicide.
