Description: In our current times, many aspects of job searching have switched over to virtual. Job fairs continue to be an important source of various opportunities. While practicing a firm handshake may not be necessary, there are still ways to be better prepared and maximize one's potential.

Puna Sabagala is the Interim Program Coordinator for Kulia ma Kapi‘olani – The Native ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian CTE Program at Kapi‘olani Community College. He has been working in the higher education academic field for 6 years in various advising and program coordinator positions at the University of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøվ‘i at Manoa and now, Kapi‘olani Community College. He is grateful for any opportunity he can get to watch ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ grow to their full potential, gain self-actualization, and become active members of the community.

Kierra Sumida is the Education Specialist for Kulia ma Kapi‘olani - The Native ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian CTE Program at Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC). She ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾uated from KCC in Spring 2018 with her A.A. in Liberal Arts and ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian Studies. And then went on to pursue her BA in Communications from ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ Manoa where she ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾uated in May of this year. In addition to her work here at KCC she also works part time at Kamehameha Schools as an assistant hula teacher. She looks forward to working with all of you to serve our ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾!

The Native ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian CTE Program at Kapi‘olani Community College: This program assists Native ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ian ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾ who are pursuing degrees in career and technical education (CTE) and STEM programs to both ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúÍøÕ¾uate and find employment in their chosen field.
