Song & Storytelling from ��ɫ������վ Hilo

The University of ��ɫ������վ'i at Hilo gives the gift of song and stories to the ��ɫ������վ 'Ohana, Ola ka 'Olelo, Ola ke Kanaka i ke Mele - Language Lives, A People Lives Through Music in celebration of ��ɫ������վian language month in February. The first presentation “Ke Kani a ke Au Mauli ��ɫ������վ'i Hou, The Kani of the ��ɫ������վian Renaissance,” will be presented by ��ɫ������վ Hilo Associate Professor Larry Kimura. Kimura’s presentation will focus on the stories and ��ɫ������վian music with a new twist in the late 1960’s that heralded the concern for vanishing ��ɫ������վian identity in ��ɫ������վ'i nei.
