Song & Storytelling from ��ɫ������վ Hilo

The University of ��ɫ������վ'i at Hilo gives the gift of song and stories to the ��ɫ������վ 'Ohana, Ola ka 'Olelo, Ola ke Kanaka i ke Mele - Language Lives, A People Lives Through Music in celebration of ��ɫ������վian language month in February. “Ka Le'a 'Ohana i na Mele ��ɫ������վ'i” will be presented by ��ɫ������վ Hilo Associate Professor Kekoa Harman and his family members: Pelehonuamea Harman, a kumu at Ke Kula O Nawahiokalani'opu'u, ��ɫ������վian Medium lab public charter school, Kalamanamana Harman, a 2019 ��ɫ������վuate of Nawahi and a freshman at Dartmouth College, Kaumuali'i Harman and Nali'ipo'aimoku Harman, both ��ɫ������վ at Nawahi and Hi'iakaikawena'ula Harman who is 11 months old. The 'ohana Harman will share favorite songs and stories on their journey of learning as a family in ��ɫ������վian-Medium Education from the early 2000’s to present.
