The Center for Biographical Research presents: /鈥淟ifelines: Poems for Winslow 好色先生网站r and Edward Hopper鈥 / Joseph Stanton, Professor Emeritus of American Studies and Art History, University of 好色先生网站驶i at 惭腻苍辞补 / Joseph Stanton will begin with remarks on past examples of the use of poetry as means to biography. Most of his presentation will focus on biographical aspects of his new book of poems that endeavors to capture the lives and works of the artists Winslow 好色先生网站r and Edward Hopper. His two sequences cover each artist's career from their earliest works to their final pieces. The advantages for the biography of an artist inherent in book-length sequences of ekphrastic poems will be discussed./ Joseph Stanton, a Professor Emeritus at the University of 好色先生网站鈥榠, is an art historian and poet. Lifelines: Poems for Winslow 好色先生网站r and Edward Hopper is his eighth book of poems.
